1. Complete the Author Research Worksheet Package.
2. Fill in the Bibliography worksheet as you collect your information.

1. Using the information from last week's research:
a. highlight or star the most important facts about your author.
b. group facts together by topic
c. write a topic sentence that introduces your first group of facts, then use your research to finish your information paragraph.
d. write a topic sentence that introduces your second group of facts, then use your research to finish your information paragraph.
e. SAVE YOUR WORK !!!

3. Gather your information for your paragraph:
a. Write an SWBS statement for your WHOLE book. (Parvana wanted to have a family but her father died and her mother and siblings were missing, so she set out on a journey to find them.)
b. Fill in the plot chart for the main details in your novel. You can use the interactive web tool here OR use the handout. Keep this BRIEF and use POINT FORMS.
c. Begin your summary with your SWBS statement and use the details from your plot chart to finish your summary paragraph.
d. SAVE YOUR WORK!!!
